Flat Fee Divorces

Waiver Divorces and Flat Fee Divorces

Sometimes a divorce is what is refered to as a “Waiver Divorce” or “Uncontested Divorce”. These are situations where both parties agree on custody, child support, support alimony, division of assets and debts, and visitation.

The fee for a waiver divorce will vary based on factors including, but not limited to:

  1. If the parties have children.
  2. If there is a home and a mortgage.
  3. The amount and type of assets and debts that are being divided.
  4. If there are retirement accounts to be divided via a Qualified Domestic Relations Order (a.k.a. QDRO).
